Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Co-axial 2504.80 Automatic Steel Good
About this watch
Neo-vintage first gen Omega Aqua Terra. As someone who has owned this and a Rolex Datejust 36 I can say confidently - this is THE Omega alternative to a 36mm DJ at half the price. Its a clean GADA watch with timeless looks.
The selling point here is the sunburst blue dial. Its hard to photograph, but it is a dark blue that pops in direct light similar to current gen ATs or an IWC Mark XX blue dial if youve seen those.
This is a great example of an Omega watch that solves many of the issues (in my opinion) with their newer watches: its thin, its not overly shiny or loud, and its not overpriced. Omega must like this reference themselves because if you look at some of their newer ATs they are going back to this style.
Fair warning: the bracelet is the oldschool, light style where you have to use little pins to remove the links. I actually like how light it feels on the wrist but dont expect the modern heft and easy quick change here. The extra links pictured are whats included. I have roughly 6.5 inch wrist and there are 3 extra links totaling about another inch so it should fit wrists up to around 7.25 inches safely
Purchased here on c24 in April 2024 from CLOSER co.,ltd in Japan with no box and papers. Im selling because Im downsizing to a 2 watch collection. You can check my history on c24 to see Im not a flipper or anything, just a regular watch guy that likes watches that punch above their price point like this one, anything Nomos / Tudor, etc
Selling to USA only
