About this watch

Look at this beautiful and elegant time piece! The mystery can never unfold what this watch has seen or been through. Truth be told though, it is quite a delight to look at. The look alone is stunning with its specs of patina coming from its age.

Who held it, for how long, where has it gone to land in your hands? A watch lives longer than its owner, this watch deserves to be on your wrist. Show it new places and give it new stories, you’re not the owner, you’re it’s temporary handler until the next.

Vintage Omega Seamaster specs:

  • Movement: Fully functioning and in working condition. The watch ticks smoothly and changes time as it should.

The internal case back has been professionally opened to verify its authentic stamping (Case Serial: 1288267), confirming a genuine Omega Swiss automatic movement inside.

Dial: Beautiful champagne sunburst dial with applied gold stick hour markers. Omega is slightly unaligned in the dial, Shows minor, honest age-related patina that enhances its true vintage character. I do not know if this is original but it looks like it is based on Patina

Case & Crystal: The 14K gold-filled case shows normal light wear and fine swirl scratches from careful use over the decades. No major dings.

Band: not original Fitted with an incredibly comfortable, period-correct gold-toned mesh bracelet that complements the dress style perfectly. Not original band.

Reference B6308: This is a US-market specific reference, often associated with a mid-size Seamaster De Ville. It corresponds to the international reference 165.004.

WHAT MAKES THIS UNIQUE? The name "Ross" refers to the Ross Watch Case Co., an American manufacturer based in New York. In the mid-20th century, Omega often imported bare movements to the US and had them "cased" locally in American-made cases like those from Ross to avoid high import taxes on luxury goods and precious metals.

Note: I do not know the history of this watch so consider it untested and unknown. But I will say… it works well.

Also if you’d like a gold mesh bracelet instead just ask.
