First debuting in 2001, just a short seven years after their relaunch in 1994, the Saxonia Langematik Perpetual achieved its desired purpose in putting Lange on the map of high-end watchmakers. Offered across an array of metals throughout its history, starting with yellow gold, platinum, rose gold, and lastly white gold (other than 2019 honeygold anniversary edition), this example is the rarest of the 4 metals produced for a non-anniversary variant. In 2001 both the yellow gold and platinum variants were first produced with yellow gold having been discontinued in 2007 and the platinum version discontinued in 2017. The rose gold edition began in 2007 and was discontinued in 2017.

White gold (black dial) was first produced in 2014 then discontinued a shirt 3 years later in 2017 with the rest of the series, making it the least produced, rarest of the non-anniversary editions. With production discontinued in 2017 (except 2019 anniversary editions as a last remembrance of the timepiece), the available stock was sold by the ADs until the last reported variants were sold in 2022.

This piece is the newest Saxonia Langematik Perpetual timepiece available and one of the rarest for a non-anniversary variant. In addition, it comes with the upgraded white gold clasp, purchased directly from the AD in new - mint condition.

The Saxonia Langematik Perpetual case is a three-piece construction, measuring 38.5mm in diameter, showing an alternating blend of brushed and polished surfaces across its entire construction and features screwed-on lugs.

The Saxonia Langematik Perpetual features a stepped black dial that is unreservedly Lange in its execution, with the German watchmakers signature Outsize date display at 12 oclock alongside applied Roman numerals and a trio of subdials that only hint at the complexity of the automatic micro-rotor cal. L922.1, which is proudly on display behind an exhibition caseback. Featuring a day display, a month display, a leap year indicator, a moon phase, a running seconds subdial, and a 24-hour dial, the ref. 310.026 is an inherently useful timepiece that is powered by one of the most beautifully designed, proficient, and impressive movements in all of watchmaking. Offered in Minty Mint condition and with box and warranty, this ref. 310.026 is every bit deserving of the incredible movement within it.
